Are Passwords masked (with asterisks) by default on all Windows Servers?

Hi,

I would like to know whether -

  1. Passwords are always masked/hidden in all Windows Servers by default.
  2. If so, is there a means to change this settings.

I could not obtain this information from the password policy documentations of Microsoft.

Hoping for a quick response.

    1. Passwords are always masked/hidden in all Windows Servers by default.
      Ans : Yes they are always and masked by default.
    2. If so, is there a means to change this settings.
      Ans: There is no settings or polices you can change the settings but you can use third party app or Develop applications to show masked password.
