Where is Whiteboard for iOS/iPadOS now exporting whiteboard images?

In the last few days this function appears to have changed. Export image used to save the image to my photos and I could access the exported image through the iOS/iPadOS "Photos" app. Today, I tried the export function and the Whiteboard app now says the image is in my "default downloads folder".... which default downloads folder? It's not in the "downloads" folder that I use for every other iOS app (i.e. iCloudDrive/Downloads), it's not in any folder I can see in

  • iCloud Drive
  • on my iOS device (tried both iPhone and iPad)
  • OneDrive

On mine, I got that message after it finished exporting (I chose Standard Resolution) and the photo was in my Photos area. I also could click Share in the top right (after exporting and before clicking the < in the top left) and save to Photos.

Do you have Photos enabled in the settings for Whiteboard? Go to Settings on your device and scroll down to Whiteboard. In the menu, is Photos access set to "Add Photos Only" or "None"? Mine is set to "Add Photos Only".
