Copying images from clipboard to wiki page

Question

Wanted to confirm if it is expected behavior when copying an image from clipboard, local word doc, etc. to a wiki page the image shows, but goes away when clicking the save button. While copy / paste images from other websites works.

This is by design, we need to insert picture to upload image:
