So I am new to windows server 2019.

Then last server we had was windows server 2012.

I have windows server 2019 1809 and I do not know how to update to 1909. It is not like windows 10 under the updates settings.
How to I update to 1909?

Thank you.

If you're running Semi-Annual Channel release then you can in-place upgrade between releases, but a clean install is always recommended.

    Hi, quick one ...

If I'm only using a license key, not on any channel.
The only way to upgrade/update is by using the ISO approach?

I guess this will be non-destructive but asking any way...
    Regards.

    Hello,

If you've the Server 2019 V1909 ISO file, simply mount that file. Go to the drive where it is mounted, click setup.exe file and proceed.

To make clean install instead, simply create a bootable USB using the ISO file. Boot using that USB and proceed with on-screen instructions.

    Regards.
