Microsoft 365 Groups in Outlook online mode

We are looking to expand the use of groups in our org, but noticed users must be in Cache mode in order to see groups in Outlook.

We have users that use shared mailboxes with lots of mail and online mode seems to be the best option for them, but then they lose the groups view in outlook.

Does Microsoft have a plan to add the ability to see Groups in Outlook in online mode. It works on the web, why can't it work in Outlook in online mode?

You can disable caching for just shared mailboxes.
    Would that work for you?

As far as online mode in Groups, I am not aware of anything changing

As Andy said you can disable caching for just shared mailboxes.

If you use Office templates, you can control these settings by using GPOs.
