Azure AD Conditional Access: Authentication Providers

Hello- looking at 3rd party MFA options via Conditional Access and reading documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/controls. It indicates that "Custom Controls works with a limited set of approved authentication providers". Is there a list of providers or a registration process that determines this approved list? Or what determines an approved provider?

Thank you

    Hi @JARON ,

Thank you for your question. We have put on hold onboarding any new 3rd party MFA provider pending a full process, legal, strategy and business review of the whole Custom Controls feature. Once we have a more established process in place, we will publish the same.

For now, these are our approved Custom Control MFA providers:

    Duo Security
    Entrust Datacard
    GSMA
    Ping Identity
    RSA
    SecureAuth
    Silverfort
    Symantec VIP
    Thales (Gemalto)
    Trusona
    ESET
    InWebo
    LogMeIn
    OneIdentity
    Imprivata
    CheckPoint

Let me know if this helps.
