Scheduled trigger jobs fail because they can't access ADLS resource. They used to be working. And they are still working in debug mode triggered manually.

Hi team,

My scheduled daily trigger jobs started to fail this week.
The error log shows that it can't access the ADLS resource shared by our partner team.
The role for our ADF app was Read /Write in the ADLS and it hasn't been changed for a long time.

I tried these job in debug mode and they have no problem to access the ADLS resource. I wonder is there anything changed from ADF?

    Hi @Mingxin Shi ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your query.

As I understand your query, you have a scheduled trigger in ADF which was working absolutely fine , however, it started failing with an error saying ADF can't access ADLS. You have also confirmed that the roles assigned to the ADF workspace hasn't been changed for a long time.

Could you please confirm on the following details:

    1. Is your ADF connected to GIT repository? If Yes, then could you please switch to the live mode and check if the trigger status is 'Started' and not 'Stopped'
    2. Could you please try publishing your latest changes in the workspace and confirm there is no new changes which has been pending as unpublished changes.

Please do let us know if the above suggestion helps. Thanks !
