Windows 11 stopped seing Wi-Fi adapter realtek 8822bu wireless lan 802.11ac usb nic.
Not sure, but probably it happened after one of the Windows updates. I use this adapter mainly for Bluetooth and hotspot, so haven't noticed that straight away, and don't really know what caused it.
Windows see Bluetooth perfectly, but doesn't see Wi-Fi adapter at all. Not even in device manager, not in Network and sharing center or in Additional network parameters.
I still can turn Hotspot on, but no device can find it and it has blank properties.
I checked this device on my laptop, which works on Windows 10 and it works perfectly there - both Wi-Fi (with hotspot) and Bluetooth.
Tried to delete device from the system, install drivers, reset network adapters - nothing works.
Also tried to recover system, but the latest point it has is after 31.03.22, when the last update was installed. And probably it wasn't the one caused it.
Is there any way to fix it?

Try open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
What is the device's manufacturer of your PC?
Mainly it's MSI, motherboard, Graphic card, Intel CPU

Since your device is MSI, then you may try contact their support and report this issue, have a look at:
https://us.msi.com/support
Make sure file a bug report in the Feedback Hub app as I mentioned earlier.
Try uninstall the Wi-Fi adaptor and restart your PC and run Windows Update and see if it is being offered in the Windows Update (you may use LAN to connect to internet).
Not sure how MSI will help with Realtek USB Wi-Fi adapter, I mean I would understand it if I had a laptop. I don't have any troubles with motherboard or Graphic card. But I will try. Also wrote to Realtek support, but they are silent.
I would gladly try to uninstall Wi-Fi adapter, but as I mentioned in the first post, Windows doesn't see it. It doesn't appear in device manager. 
When I tried to delete this device from settings window 
, it removes all bluetooth devices from Device manager, but didn't have any effect on Wi-Fi adapter. Windows Update doesn't show anything as well. Also tried to install drivers manually (from CD image which came with the adapter) and the ones that were downloaded automatically on my laptop (copied 2 sys files and inf file from windows folder), but to no avail.
And I filed a bug report, but no replies.
You might not receive a direct response when you share an issue in the Feedback Hub app but the Windows team will investigate it
I asked you to contact MSI, because I though this is laptop, however in your case you it was good idea to contact Realtek.

Maybe there are some services that might interrupt network adapters identification or something like that?
Try boot into Safe Mode and see if the problem persist?

Finally I have some progress. Thank you. Not with Safe mode, but by Disable driver signature enforcement I was able to manually install drivers which I took from my Laptop's Windows folder. And my PC now see this device, it even worked before I resterted system. After restart it didn't work again with yellow exclamation sign on its drivers, and don't want to update it (and by deleting it, it download automatically drivers that it doesn't like).
Will try to install different drivers manually and see if it works.
I guess it all started with Windows 11 drivers for Bluetooth adapter, so will try to report it somehow.
So in Disable driver signature enforcement it sees drivers for realtek, and Wi-Fi works, but hotspot not. 
It also sees some Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter_14 (was 13 before I tried to delete it and install again), which it doesn't want to update. 
But when I load Windows in normal mode, it doesn't have Wi-Fi and shows exclamation mark on the driver. 
And it doesn't want to update drivers, or install the good ones after I uninstall it.
With some more effort I managed to install some drivers and it works now. Thanks for the help.

Hi. Can't remeber the exact sequence, but I managed to install drivers to my adapter, which I took from my laptop. I installed them in Disable driver signature enforcement mode. After that I either deleted it in normal mode and installed drivers which downloaded from internet, or just installed drivers from internet over it. Can't recall how exactly it was, but most of my steps can be seen in comments
THX! I tried to install the driver in disable driver enforcement signature mode. Everything seems to be properly working till now.
