Dear All,

We have a requirement to perform a load testing for our newly build AVD infra. As per the sizing calculator we assume the pooled session host can accomodate 10 session and we are looking for 100 concurrent session, so we may need 10 session host as we go with number.

Can someone advise to perform a load testing and whats its requirement to perform like do we need atleast 10 users in AD and only 1 session host running etc.,

    @Julie M

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

    The amount of concurrent users on a session host depends on the size of the VM and the applications that are used.
    To test if the sizing is appropriate, we recommend to use at least one VM and let so many users work on that VM as it is intended. This will give you most realistic data.

    You can also look at artificial load simulators like LoginVSI. However, those might need to be customized to use the apps that you are going to use.

    Hope that helps.
