When migrating a mailbox from office365 back to On premises. i would like to know what would be the value for target address in mail user contact in office365. My dns is pointing to Office 365 and i don't want to change anything in it. Once migration of one mailbox is completed office365 mailbox is converted to mail contact with target address which is used for routing a mailbox to on-premises. What is best standard policy for this without changing DNS migrated mailbox should be directed to on-premises. i hvae few mailbox still reside on 365 and few will be on onpremises. I am concern about autodiscovery setting.

According to my research, we need point autodiscover record to On-premise Exchange server during hybrid environment.
For On-premise mailbox, it remain use previous autodiscover lookup behavior to find endpoint and access to Exchange.
For migrated mailbox, autodiscover service will redirect On-premise autodiscover record to Office 365 (autodiscover-s.outlook.com), and access to Office 365.
