Enabled GPO for Startup page in Edge not working. GPUpdate completes but no change in default page.

    Hi @Ken Smith (he/him)

    Are you using these group policies RestoreOnStartup and RestoreOnStartupURLs to set the Startup page? If so, your machine must meet the following requirements:

    This policy is available only on Windows instances that are joined to a Microsoft Active Directory domain, Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise instances that enrolled for device management, or macOS instances that are that are managed via MDM or joined to a domain via MCX.

    If you're using Windows, I think it's highly possible that the machine is not joined a AD domain. You can navigate to edge://policy/ in Edge, you'll find the policy status is Error, Ignored.
