When ever I try to do ADO.NET Entity Data Model I get this error. Now I have tried to install as many of the SQL add-ons for database and still didn't work. Then I have tried to use the SQL explorer in Visual Studio and it still throws the error message. I asking for help to try to fix this error or get on the right path to fix it? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Which Visual Studio is being used e.g. Visual Studio 2022?
Have you tried using Visual Studio installer and perform all updated (if any) or perhaps in the Installer perform a repair which is under the More button.
What's the target framework of the project?

Hi @Mark Tweedy , which framework are you going to use, .NET Framework or .NET/.NET Core? If .NET Framework, did you choose to use the XXXX(.NET Framework) project template instead of XXXXX project template? If .NET 5, .NET 6, .NET Core 3.1… did you try to install some related NuGet packages and maybe also use some related commands to create a model like using Scaffold-DbContext …?
I am just trying to create a database program using sql with in c#. I also tried to do a repair on visual studio and it didn't work still getting the same error. The only other thing I can think of to do is uninstall and reinstall it. Maybe it's the age of the pc?
Have you tried performing a repair on Visual Studio?
