Cannot sign in to register for Pearson VUE exam using existing email adress

I have a Microsoft account that I have been using do Microsoft Azure training, yet, when trying to register for the exam it prompt to sign in but says my email address does not exist. I'm thus stuck on the sign in page with no other way of registering for the exam.
