System classification is not working properly

Have applied system classification for Australia bank account number(mocked data with 6 digit number) as per the below document, But asset is not classified as expected.
Could you please check and confirm?
Sample format: 123-456 & 667-890

As we understand the ask here is that Classification is not being assigned to Australia bank account number (6 digit with patter xxx-xxx) but it is stated as a valid pattern and minimum digits required to classify an asset. Please correct if I'm not accurate.

We will escalate this internally to respective product team and will see if we are missing anything or if there is an issue on the product side. Will keep you posted as soon as we have an update.

Yes you are correct. System classification was not applied while using a valid pattern

As per the conversation with product team, Azure purview uses an internal classification engine to identify Australian bank account numbers, and it requires one of the keywords in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/purview/supported-classifications#keyword_australia_bank_account_number to classify the column with required confidence.

I see that the current column name is not present in this keyword list, could you please change the column name to use one of the keywords in the document, re-upload the document and scan?

Please note that rescanning the existing document might not apply the classification on the document.
