Can't open OME encrypted message in Outlook for Mac

Hi

When we send OME encrypted message to a recipient in other M365 tenant and this recipient is on Mac, using Outlook for Mac with his M365 account, he cant open OME encrypted message.

When recipient receives enrypted message, there is no default OME text, "You have received encrypted message from..." and so on, there is no body text at all and there is no attachment in the message. There is only a button to "Check credentials", which opens a login screen and when recipient logs in using his M365 account, he gets error message "This account is not found from the "sending tenant AD"...". This user can see these message via Outlook on the web normally.

Recipients Outlook for Mac is on latest version 16.59 and comes via M365 licensing.

Why this is not working on a Outlook for Mac?

    Our resolution was to open these messages via owa.
