Getting a 403 Forbidden nginx. On a new App Service Wordpress on Linux. I just set it up and have not touched a thing. I have had this issue before but it would go away after a day.

Did you use the WordPress for Linux from the marketplace for appsvccorg/wordpress-alpline-php:0.72? If so, how is your container settings configured? That image makes use of a mysql database. Did you by chance create one?
Here are my container settings that did produce the expected wordpress page.
