After about 3 months of testing my Win 10 IoT Enterprise image boots up to a blank screen right as Windows starts to load. The Windows logo will briefly appear and then it is just a blank screen. Normally our application will launch but there is nothing. I have seen this with and with out our application installed on two separate systems we have. Without our application installed it should just boor to the desktop.
The image had sysprep run with the production runtime key. Windows was activated on both systems after the image was installed. Did I miss a setup step somwhere?

Did you set up kiosk mode and sign in with the kiosk account (a local standard user account) ?Did you try to lauch the default shell (explorer.exe) ?
I'm not running Kiosk mode, it should either boot to the desktop or our application if it is installed. We run with an Administrator account.
This seems like it might be an activation issue. The problem can be recreated by changing the BIOS clock ahead two months. The problem happens when Windows hasn't been activated and also when it has been. That is the strange thing about this.
It turns out the password never expires box was not checked for the user account we boot into. So the password was expiring after 6 weeks. Once this was checked Windows booted fine after changing the date. Thanks for everyone's help.
If you are creating the custom image with an Answer file from SIM, you can run the net.exe command to disable the password time out. Or create a custom security template that has the password time out disabled, and the run secedit to install the security template so it doesn't happen again.

What you are describing is that the system has been working for 3 months, then all of a sudden it doesn't boot the application, is this correct?

I would say it's more like ~6 weeks and then the blank screens start happening.
We've seen this with and without our application installed. If you install the image and move the date forward at about the 6 week mark when you power on you can see Windows start to load with the logo and spinning activity indicator and then the monitors go blank. Without our application installed, it should just boot to the desktop of our Admin account.
@Josh Kendall , you may try to boot the OS in safe mode and run the command 'slmgr.vbs /dlv' with administrator. It will show the activation result.
I've run that and it says the License Status is Licensed
Does the issue happen in safe mode?If it also happens in safe mode, the issue may be cuased by activator, you may go to this link to get support.
