CPU Performance issue with WSL 2

Hello,
I just upgraded my pc to Windows 11.
But I got a weird issue with CPU bus speed and WSL2.
If I turn on the WSL 2 service. The CPU's bus speed will drop to 77.87 MHz.

However, if I switched off the virtual machine platform and windows subsystem for Linux, the bus speed will be back to 100MHz.

Running on a lower frequency of bus speed affects the performance of my workstation significantly.

I never got this issue in Windows 10.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks

    Hi @Justin Gong

On Windows 11, Microsoft is simplifying the install process of the Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL) to only one command to download and install all the required components and WSL2 offers improved performance over version 1 by providing more direct access to the host hardware drivers.

Enough said we need more information for troubleshooting the issue which you can gather by Event Viewer or process monitor.

You can also File an issue, bug report, feature request from this link if you think this is an issue specific with Windows 11 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/troubleshooting
