Asus and Microsoft disagree

Why does Asus state that the ROG Strix Z270G is compatible with Windows 11 when the maximum CPU for this MB is i7 7700K? Not an 8th gen processor.

    The list of supported Intel's processor for Windows 11 are as follow:

    However, in this case you should check with ASUS and as long as they meet the minimum requirement for the Windows 11, the system is able to run the Windows 11.
