Local Administrator Smartcard setup

So I am am looking to configure the local administrator account to use a smart card (no domain). Where do I start?

Say I am successful in doing the above. Can I use the same physical card on multiple computers?

The end goal is I want to login as the local admin on a bunch of computers with the same card.
