Reset complete but windows install is having issues.

After updating a graphics driver I restarted my PC, as is recommended. It immediately blue screened repeatedly until the options menu appeared. I watched multiple YouTube videos and followed various instructions to no avail. Finally I decided to just completely reset my PC. After about 3 hours it had reset and began installing windows again. However, after a few minutes it would run into an error. I tried to restart multiple times but the error continued to come up. I found a video, with lots of positive comments, that had me enter "regedit" into command prompt and go down through a bunch of tabs into the windows setup config. Changed the stage to 3, as suggested in the video, and restarted. This seemed to have worked but now my PC will boot up and sit on a "Please Wait" screen. Sometimes it will change to display an Administrator login page, but the box where I would login is replaced with another "Please Wait" loading screen and then crash after a few mins. Other times it skips the Admin page and just crashes after a few mins on the first "Please Wait" page. Is this something I can fix or is my PC an oversized paperweight now? I've been debating buying an 8GB flash drive and loading up a clean win10 install onto it, as I have read that may be an option. Plz help.

If there are important files that are not backed up you can perform a custom install.

If there are no important files then you can perform a clean install.

    Both of the above:

    a) require a bootable Windows Media Creation Tool (MCT)

    b) require the reinstallation of drivers and applications

If there are BSOD after reinstalling Windows then you can test hardware components.

    These are some links for:

    a) custom install

    b) clean install

    c) create a bootable flash drive with MCT

    Hi JamesCrew-9683,

Have you considered that the graphics card may be the issue here? This all seems to have started when you updated the graphics card drivers. Therefore, I suggest, if possible, that you remove the graphics card and rebuild the operating system without it installed (or a different card). Then once you have the system up and running, reinstall and update the graphics card. Using a new drive would be a good way to start fresh without losing what you already have.
