Microsoft wireless display adapter

Hi All,

Here is my environment:

Microsoft wireless display adapter V.2.0.8442

HP 850 G2 - Intel wireless N 7260
HP 850 G7
HP 850 G8 - Intel ax201
Lenovo V14 G2 ITL - Intel AC 9560

There is a problem to connect to wireless adapter start from half a year ago. Sometimes user may need to connect few times. Finally, there is no user using new notebook can connect to wireless adapter.

HP 850 G2 - OK
HP 850 G7 - Fail
HP 850 G8 - Fail
Lenovo V14 - OK

Because all users work with HP so that I borrowed Lenovo for this test. I felt the problem appear after the Windows and driver update

I also followed some web forums suggestion but no luck.

  • Update wifi adapter driver
  • Update wireless display firmware
  • Update display card driver
  • Windows update
  • Change wifi adapter frequency

Is the wireless adapter not compatible with new wifi adapter or driver?

    Hi,
    we had the same problem after update WiFi adapter driver to 22.120.
    As temporary solution I downgrade to 22.110 and everything works ok.
