WIndows Clustering in AWS with SMB Share

I am building a two node cluster in AWS. As Shared storage is not available in AWS, looking to utilise an SMB share as the cluster role disks. We are using a script to assign the share.

Has anyone any experiences of this, in particular the reliability of using SMB as a disk as there will be alot of load on the disks.

    Hey,

    You should be able to use S2D as a shared storage for Failover Cluster. The following article might be helpful:

    As an alternative, StarWind VSAN can be used as a shared storage in AWS. The following quick start guide should help with configuration:
