Vague AAD sync error DeletingCloudOnlyObjectNotAllowed

We have a DeletingCloudOnlyObjectNotAllowed error in the environment, but the GUID doesn't seem to exist in either AD or AAD anymore, and we don't have any other identifying information to work with. Is there a way to clear this error without having to figure out what it was pointing to originally?
