In some cases, even after you change the list experience settings from list settings, you will still be getting the same UI. This is because of the browser cookie! I suggest you can take the following steps to troubleshoot this issue.
- Simply clear your browse data and reload the page to fix the problem.
- Try another browser and switch to classic mode.
- If you use some web part in the library or list, please make sure there is no closed web part.
Add ?contents=1 to the end of the page URL in your browser address bar. This will take you to the Web Part Page Maintenance page. Are there any closed web parts on the page? Delete those web parts. Return to the page.
