Can I make a cell equal a formula under one condition but be blank under another condition? I

Can I format a cell as a formula if the value of another cell is numeric but leave it blank if the value of that other cell is an alphanumeric code?

    Hi @Gregory I

    Could you please share us with a simple sample that show more deatils, such as the results you need.

    Now, I would suggest you try the IF and ISNUMBER functions firt.

    On the below image, if the data in cell B1 is numeric, then give the cell in the same row A1 a formula "B1+2“, if not then A1 is blank.
