Hello Community,

Please I need your help on this.

On-prem Skype for Business (SFB) asking for exchange credentials continuously post enabling MFA in O365

After we set up the MFA then the issue started with SFB On-Premises.

I have tried using the APP password, but it didn’t work. Our Exchange Server is hosted online

    Hi @IBN

Do you mean your Skype for Business client always ask for credentials when log in?

What is your environment? hybrid or on-premise?

It recommends you try to add the following registry on your computer and rebooted it to see if could be fixed.

    For Skype for Business:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync

Then, apply the AllowAdalForNonLyncIndependentOfLync registry key setting:

    “AllowAdalForNonLyncIndependentOfLync”=dword:00000001
