I just tried installing the update manually and running it; I still get the pop-ups that the updates were not installed. What else can I do?

Hi @RaneemSarraj-7180,

You could try install it manually.

Download the update from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

Hi there,

I would first suggest you try getting the updates manually and see if you can install them.
You can get the updates by KB (KB5012592 ) number from the below link
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx

If you receive the same message and error on subsequent retries, try this workaround to mitigate the issue:

-Select the start button and type cmd
-Right-click or long-press on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
-Type or copy and paste the following command into the Command Prompt window:

dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

-Wait for the command to complete.
-Restart your device.
-Try checking for updates again.

I have the same problem with this update, but unfortunately this last suggestion (startcomponentcleanup) als did not have the required result.
Still the same error code 0x80073701

LimitlessTechnology-2700, thank you for that. It worked perfectly to do as you suggested:

-Select the start button and type cmd
-Right-click or long-press on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
-Type or copy and paste the following command into the Command Prompt window:

dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

-Wait for the command to complete.
-Restart your device.
-Try checking for updates again.
