We are experiencing logoffs that seem to be because of the CEIP with 21H2 devices that have had the Citrix Remove PC VDA v2112 installed. System logs have instances of event 7002 - Winlogon - User Logoff Notificaion for Customer Experience Improvement Program.

We have put in place a group policy to create a REG_DWORD called CEIPEnable at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows and to set it to 0.

We are also disabling 2 scheduled tasks - Consolidator & UsbCeip - at Microsoft\Windows\Customer Experience Improvement Program in the task scheduler.

These steps worked for one device but the problem remained for others.

So we disabled the task called Proxy at \Microsoft\Windows\Autochk in the task scheduler to no avail.

On one device we created a REG_DWORD called MaxDisconnectionTime at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services and set it to 0. Logoffs continued.

What are we missing? Any ideas?

This was a Citrix VDA issue. The settings that were changed:

    Disconnected session timer
Disconnected session timer for Remote PC Access
    Disconnected session timer interval

    Skip
