VB 6.0 - Windows 11- Error in ADO - Help - Request - Reg

Sir,

Earlier, I was using VB 6.0 and SQL 2008 in Windows 7.

But now i have shifted to Windows 11 in a new PC.

So I have installed (after long struggle) VB 6.0 in my Windows 11 PC by studying lots of articles.

While loading my project in VB 6 and try to compile, the following error came;

"Compile Error. Cannot find project or Library". So I have download the "msado60_Backcompat_i386.tbl" and loaded in the VB 6.0 project references.

But still I am facing the same error above.

As per the KB of MS, I found that VB 6.0 may run in Windows 11 too.

Please help me to fix the issue.

    According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/visualstudio/visual-basic-6/visual-basic-6-support-policy although the VB6 runtime and certain files continue to be supported the VB6 IDE is NOT supported by Microsoft in Windows 11.

    Thanks for your reply. Sir, if it is not supported by Windows 11 means, why they mentioned the following line sir?

    The Visual Basic team is committed to "It Just Works" compatibility for Visual Basic 6.0 applications on the following supported Windows operating systems:
    Windows 11

    Please help me sir. My entire work will be collapsed if it is not through.
