Are Internet Explorer 11 group policy settings applied after it has been disabled as a standalone browser?

We are using the Enterprise Mode Site Lists and configured all sites to open in Edge that are not in the EMSL. We have also disabled IE11 as a standalone browser. I'm wondering if group policy settings such as ActiveX installation and the use of trusted site zones that are specific to IE11 are still being used if the site opens in IE11 emulation mode.

    Hi @greatestcommonfactor

From the official doc, IE mode supports group policies that affect security zone settings and Protected Mode, and IE mode doesn't support group policies that control the navigation menu.
