Hi,

The early days of disk / network fair share scheduling were not bright.

(for example see https://www.wedelit.no/blog/2019/08/15/slow-application-on-citrix-rds-tsfairshare/ )

What's up with those feature today ?
Is it advisable to set them ON ?

    Hi there,

In Windows Server 2016, fair share technologies are enabled by default in RDS.

Check this article for the features:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4494631/fair-share-technologies-enabled-by-default-in-remote-desktop-services

And here’s a test in this blog may give you some tips on whether setting them on:

    Best Regards
    Karlie
