Hi there,

I create a content type with specific site columns in SharePoint Online and published it. After that I added another two columns and also published it. Unfortunately, the new cloumns don't be published and updated to specific List. I was wondered if any steps were skipped from my side.

thanks

    Hi @SHUO .H ,

In general, after modifying the content type in the SharePoint Admin Center and publishing, the modified content will be automatically synchronized to the site under the tenant. However, it cannot be updated immediately, and there is a time delay the content type to the site where the list is located.
You can also choose to manually update.
    Please follow my next steps:
1,Make sure you have both options checked after you create the column.

    2,Republish the content type.
3,Go to the site you want to update.
Site settings-->Site content types-->select the content type you have modified
(You should be a admin, So that you can see this section in Settings )
You will run into the below page, then click ”Update

4,Then you can see the column have been updated to the list.
