Problems when opening shared files through Microsoft teams

Hello Teams Community,

Please I need your help on this issue.

We are facing an issue when trying to open any word or excel shared file through Microsoft teams.

we are getting the error usc-excel.officeapps.live.com took too long to respond.

The same applies to Teams online, and also we cannot open, word or excel online through portal.office.com (getting the same error)

This issue was reported today.

I checked the service degradation in SP360511 does it relate to this problem?

    Hi @IBN ,

    I checked the SP360511 in my lab tenant and it indeed looks related to the issue you described. And as shown in the image below, seems like in my tenant, the service has already been restored:

    Please keep an eye on this incident from the Service health dashboard in your Microsoft 365 admin center for the latest update on your end, then try it again to see if the files can be accessed properly once it says "service restored".
