intro to microsoft azure cloud services coursera - unable to activate sandbox

Question

When trying to active azure sandbox as part of this coursera course I click on this link:

that "Sign In to active sandbox" link is hyperlinked to:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/azure-architecture-fundamentals/exercise-create-website?activate-azure-sandbox=true

When I click that link it takes me here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/azure-architecture-fundamentals/

I have logged in and out multiple times from my microsoft account. The link it takes me to doesn't have the activate sandbox button that the docs say it should here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/support/faq?pivots=sandbox#how-do-i-activate-the-sandbox

When i Log into Azure portal, I receive this notification:

I am very confused and frustrated. Many of the questions asked on this topic are not exactly my issue (I cannot even see the Activate sandbox button) or the question was closed and not answered?

Microsoft Certification Program is supported on their own forums. I'd try asking for help with course issues in dedicated forums here. (Participate\Ask A Question)
