In SSRS, I feel like grouping and Adjacent grouping does the same wrk. Still, I have gone through some videos and webpages, I feel the same. Can anyone please give me a proper difference that makes grouping and Adjacent grouping differ?

MY UNDERSTANDING: Grouping gives out dependent details or summary of data, Whereas Adjacent Grouping gives out summary without dependencies.

    Hi @Navinkumar Kanagaraj

As far as I known,Adjacent group is group too. The only difference is that the term adjacent group is based on the group you previously created. It means the two groups are independent of each other, not an inclusive relationship. You can delete a previously created group without affecting this current group.
If you still confused of it,please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Isabella
