Windows Server Essentials Dashboard - No users or Devices

I am running Essentials Dashboard on Windows Server 2016. Recently the dashboard has dropped my Devices and Users. I've isolated the problem to a service failure which is "Windows Server Essentials Management Service (WseMgmtSvc). I noticed the service is stopped. Dashboard takes forever and a day to open (exaggerating) and i get the spinning wheels around [User Accounts], [Server Folders], [Server Backup], [Health Report Settings], and [Devices]. I pulled some of my event logs and found these. I will note that the service seems to shut itself off when I open the dashboard (when it finally open). When I close the dashboard the service turns itself back on. See logs below - what am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix this? I'll be honest though - I know nothing about .NET and I'm savvy enough to work on these servers in depth and with Active Directory. This is something I just can't seem to figure out. Any help, suggestions, or even a GUIDE would be most helpful! Thank you in advance!

What I've done

  • I have done SFC /Scannow
  • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth - This actually found some problems and fixed them. Didn't seem to fix this though

If it were me, I would not spend much time on this one. I'd stand up a new one for replacement ASAP.
