Hi all,

Is it possible to have security vault in sharepoint site or some extra protection. We have documents that need to be protected at all costs and only one person should have access to that site. Is it possible to protect that SP site with MFA or some extra protection higher an site permissions?

    Hi,

The only thing that I am aware of that might help in this case are Conditional access and access control policies where you have options like block access from unmanaged devices (the policy can also be scoped for specific users, groups, or sites ) and you can even configure allow browser-only access etc..

    Best Regards,

In addition, you may check the security labels and authentication context as well. Authentication context is currently in public preview but is available in all tenants. With authentication context, applications can request that Azure AD re-evaluate authentication and authorization when a user takes certain actions. You will need to combine multiple Microsoft 365 features with conditional access to make this work. By doing this you will get MFA when accessing that site.
