Hello everyone, I have a question, I want to know if there is any way to when creating a document template appears a section requesting metadata before creating the template.

    If you mean prior to creating the file based on the template in a library, no. The first action is creating the file prior to opening and entering an edit mode.

    Hi @68100 ,

    Whether you want to add metadata into document template?

    If it is true, we could edit the template via library settins> advanced settings> Edit Tempalte> open the document template in word> Insert > Document Property >Quick Parts to select the metadata from sharepoint library.
