When performing a DACPAC deployment to Azure SQL Database, after the deployment has completed (including all post-deployment scripts), the following error is encountered, retries 7 times before exiting.
The deployment is successful overall, and the same error occurs when running either locally or via a devops Release using the latest version of SQLPackage (16.0.5400.1).
What can be done to prevent this error? Whilst deployments don't fail, their completion is always delayed by a few minutes while the retries play themselves out.
The error encountered is as follows:
