I would like to know if there is a way to disable the Item Properties that comes up when a user double-clicks a row in a SharePoint list? I have two fields that just require a single click and that's all I need to user to do. I would like to prevent them from editing any other fields especially in the Item Properties form. Any ideas?

    Hi @James Trogdon ,

Per my test, there is no available way to disable double click eidt form. You could use PowerApps to restrict users only be able to edit specific fields as a workaround if you want to prevent them from editing any other fields in edit form. And you could start a new discussion in Microsoft Power Apps Community for further help, engineers from this forum will provide more professional support about PowerApps forms.

I was also able to turn on content management and hide the columns that could be edited. Now the only columns that show up on the item properties are the calculated fields which are read-only. This helps protect the data so the user can only click the icons on the list to update to the two date/time fields.
