Dear Team,

We are unable to add a user in Custom list. SharePoint 2019 (pure on-prime, we are not using only)

domain is 2-way trust domain
configured with user profile synchronization
For the same user we are able to add the another custom list in same application
We are not using office 365
It is SharePoint 2019

1.Try to add another account in the custom list, compare the result.
2.Try to add this account in another custom list in the same site collection, compare the result.

@Emily Du-MSFT Thank you soo much for your support, i have compared the below point then i got the resolution

1.Try to add another account in the custom list, compare the result.
2.Try to add this account in another custom list in the same site collection, compare the result.

Issue Resolved:::

before adding the user into custom list, we have to add this user in specific SharePoint Group.

This group is allocated to this custom list.

The user that is been added, is an external user and the above solution is now working
