Hi All,

Thanks in advance,

I created a PowerShell based monitor in SCOM. The monitor is targeted to a custom class.

My requirement is to have an option to run a Task when the alert is fired.

Diagnostic or recovery task are not a concern.

In real example: If the monitor generates an alert. In the active alert view against to the specific alert i would like to have a task option to run. The specific task will perform certain activities.

I tried to create a task from authoring tab against the same class of monitor but the created task is not displaying in active alert view once the specific alert fires.

Regards,
Anu

I guess you're talking about a console or an agent task then?
If it's targeted at the same class than the monitor that triggered the alert, it absolutely should show up in the task pane of the console.
Could you please share a screenshot of what you actually see and a relevant sample of the management pack XML?
