Hi @Robert Medary ,
Hopefully this helps.
- Go to Start > Settings .
- Select Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Turn off Automatically save my restartable apps when I sign out and restart them when I sign in.

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have been having this issue for over 2 weeks now on my personal computer and now my company computer. Whenever I log into my computer Microsoft Edge automatically launches and goes to Bing. I am sick of this. I have gone into the task scheduler to make sure there were no tasks, I have checked multiple times my StartUp to make sure it is not there, I have turned off ALL the NOTIFICATIONS, and have run commands from the command line to turn off the updates for Edge and yet it still keeps on launching. I am about to install Linux on my machine just so I do not have to deal with this. On top of this, it appears that I cannot uninstall EDGE. HOW DO I MAKE THIS QUIT POPPING UP??? Maybe I need to get a Mac!

You can check with Autoruns for Windows if you find it
