Azure for MySQL can't create instance
Hello, I can not create an Azure database for MySQL, the deployment is created but then take a lot of time and do nothing. It only creates a private DNS zone...
Hi @Cyprien AUBRY , welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and sorry for the trouble you are facing.
Could you please tell me how are you creating the server, using Azure Portal or through PowerShell or Azure CLI? Please share the commandlets if you are using any. Thanks
I tried creating a flexible server with below command using Azure CLI and it was successful. Can you please try the same once:
az mysql flexible-server create --location centralindia --resource-group <resourcegroup> --name <instanceName> --admin-user <adminname> --admin-password <password> --sku-name Standard_D2ds_v4 --tier "GeneralPurpose" --storage-size 32 --address-prefixes "10.0.0.0/16" --subnet-prefixes "10.0.0.0/24" --subnet "default-subnet" --backup-retention 10 --high-availability SameZone --iops 1000 --storage-auto-grow Enabled --version 8.0.21 --vnet <VNetName> --yes --private-dns-zone "<name>.private.mysql.database.azure.com"
I created it using Azure Portal in the France Central zone. Nothing specific in the configuration.
Sorry for delay in response. I think it could be temporary glitch as I was able to successfully create server in Central France region as well using above command.
Could you please give it a try and let us know? If there is an activity id of error, please note it and pass it to us.
