In ability to get code

Question

i have forgotten of my laptop password
on my laptop i used my outlook account to operate
i have tried to reset my laptop password using my outlook account but anytime i get where a code is supposed to be sent to me for the password reset, the code doesn't come. i dont know what to do so help me out

Outlook.com (hotmail) is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Outlook.com actively monitors questions in dedicated forums here.
