Hello Teams Community,

Please i need help on this.

During a Teams Meeting, some of our guest users from different organizations were able to join the meeting. But all of a sudden the call of the guest user dropped off from the meeting and they lost access to the meeting.

Unfortunately, they couldn't join the meeting again after trying to join back with the same meeting link.

Some of them that were able to join got stucked in the lobby and we couldn't get a pop-up to get them admitted.

The only workaround was to recreate a new meeting link which works and later it reverts back to the above behavior..

Please does anyone know the cause and how to get it resolved.

    Hi @IBN

Does this issue persist all the time?

Are there any error messages when they lost access to the meeting?

Does this issue only happened in guest users?

If the user got Stuck in the Microsoft Teams Lobby, you could try to follow these steps to see if it can be reproduced:

    1. Open the MS Teams Admin Center and change the settings.
    2. Then navigate to Meetings (left pane) and select Meeting policies.
    3. Under Participants & Guests, locate this option: Automatically admit people.
    4. Set this option to Everyone. Check if the issue is gone.
    5. Meanwhile, you may want to set Allow dial-in users to bypass the lobby to Everyone as well.
