Forward log from resources to Event hub in different region

Can I forward event from Azure AD and Azure Defender (SEA region) to my Event Hub at East Asia region? Because my resources located at different regions and I want to collect all the events to a single Event Hub Namespace.

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

My understanding is that you would want to know whether Diagnostic logs from Azure resources can be sent to Event Hub in different region. Please correct me if I'm not clear.

I did double check with product team and confirmed that you can only forward diagnostic logs from resources to Event hub namespace in the same region.

Sorry for the late reply.
How can i get the event hub to show up that because there are some limitations mentioned in the docs; and my Event hub in SEA did not show up in the diagnostic setting of my resources located in East Asia region

Thanks for the screenshot. I did double check with Product team and confirmed it is only possible to route monitor logs to Eventhub namespace in the same region. I have updated my initial comment accordingly.

Currently in order to route monitor logs to either Azure Storage or Azure Event Hubs then both resources should be in the same region.
But if you would want to route logs to a different region then you may have to go with Log analytics.

But if you have feedback/feature request for regarding this requirement, I recommend you to please log it in IDEAS forum here - https://feedback.azure.com/d365community/forum/3887dc70-2025-ec11-b6e6-000d3a4f09d0
