HLK client stuck in initializing state

Hello,
In HLK studio we have created a machine pool under $Root and dragged the client from the default pool to the newly created pool. But the client remains in initializing state and does not change its state to ready. Under the platform tab, it displays as "Unknown platform". I have observed that in HLK manager under the job monitor client goes in a Ready state.
we did try all troubleshooting ways that were mentioned by Microsoft documentation and on the 'MSDN forum' but does not get success.
FYI: We have set up windows10 pro version 21H2 as the client and windows server 2016 as the server. Also installed HLK setup version 1607 accordingly.
Any help is appreciated.
