Failed to update Insider programme 20201 rs version

I am unable to update my Acer Nitro 5 version - 20190 rs version . I was unable to install the version 20201 in my laptop. I too failed the previous version too. I tried to install 20201 through iso downloaded from official website of Microsoft but it failed with an unknown error. Please help me to install the update .

Where did get the Insider program updates? WSUS or Windows Update.

In addition, please provide the KB number. I would like to test it in my lab environment first.

Dev Channel

First I did through windows update which took 8000.1 MB of data with 6% progress in 4 hours
Secondly I did through official website of microsoft which took 4.4 GB of data in 25 minutes. I then install through setup . It took 1 hour to show that there is an error while working out on update progress 55%.

I do not know what to do

I took help from Get Help app, but the app couldn't solve my issue.

Here are the details,

My KB number --KB4569744
I get update through Windows Update but downloading progress is so slow and 8000.1 MB data gone although progress was only 6%
Please help me.

Thanks for your response.

It seems that you have already installed the feature update. The Windows 10 2004 OS Build version as the same in my environment. Here is my environment for your reference:

I found out many articles said that the error code 0X1900101 means a driver crashed when we loaded it for the first time. Any driver could cause the failure, but it may not crash 100 percent of the time. If we try again, it may just work. So it is recommended to wait for a while and observe whether this issue will exist or not.

In addition, this issue is more related to the OS. It is recommended to reopen a case and post this issue on the Windows 10 forum. In the WSUS, we can only support the Release Preview Channel.

No ,That version of OS Build didn't install
But a new update came today.
It got installed ,Now I am happy and worried free.

Now my OS Build is 20206.1000

What is your laptop Windows version? I want to test it in my lab first.

I test it in my Windows 10 1903 client yesterday and the client did get the Windows 10 Insider Preview 20190 update. Here is my lab environment for your reference:

According to this link, the laptop must be in Windows 10 version to get the Windows Insider Program.
